Hello again, Cool Streets WPG!
Play Hive was inspired by a bee's journey through its natural environment. This journey is bright and dynamic, designed with our volunteers in hopes of bringing refreshment to those that pass by the John Bruce Bridge. Colourful layering from our bees and their trails, hand drawn flowers, and hexagon patterning also aims to inspire movement and energy!
We had a blast painting and would like to thank the organizers, project sponsors, and those who have helped out to make this design come to life.
Cool Streets aims to transform Winnipeg’s public spaces through art, while increasing discussions about children’s mobility in cities. Drone footage is by CoolStreetsWPG.
